The specialized parent company for the construction and development of transportation infrastructure in the country announced that the construction operations for the 17-kilometer section 7 of the Zanjan-Bijar-Qorveh railway will begin on Saturday, March 16th. The construction of this rail route will connect the Zanjan-Tabriz and Hamadan-Sanandaj railways through the Bijar County, and will help facilitate the transit of goods and passengers from the northwest borders to the south of the country, as well as connecting the Bijar County to the country’s rail network. The construction of 5 bridges measuring 100 meters in length and 2 stations along the section 7 of the Zanjan-Bijar railway are also planned.
