The first hydrogen train in GermanySpecial fuel cells are used in this train in which hydrogen and oxygen are transformed into electricity and therefore there is no pollution.

Most of the trains in Europe are still using diesel and Alstom Company is trying to export this technology to other European countries to lessen the effects of global warming.

The government of Germany has also stated that it plans to bring 14 trains using hydrogen fuel to the railway transport network.
